Dear CHAMPS member,
A lot is happening in our city these days, and much of it affects, either directly or indirectly, the business climate in which we work. CHAMPS is partnering with Trendency Research to provide members with an opportunity to raise issues that affect their businesses, both positively and negatively. This will help all of us, as an organization and as individual businesses, to advocate for policies that improve our ability to thrive on Capitol Hill. This focused research program is designed to be easy, interesting, and, above all, helpful. We look forward to your participation.
Each time you log in, you will receive 8-10 questions on a range of topics. On occasion, you may receive a question or two that seem familiar because in today’s fast-paced world, things change quickly, and so do opinions.
Most questions will be about things happening in our city that affect our businesses. Others will be about your feelings on the overall economy, while others might be about your specific business.
Regardless of the topic, all answers will be 100% confidential, and we will only report out the findings in the aggregate.
About once a month, we will send you a reminder to answer your set of questions, but you can always log in more than once a month.

First of all, this will help the organization be much more effective when it comes to expressing the views and wishes of the Capitol Hill business community. It will also help CHAMPS promote our businesses.
Finally, we will be releasing the results of some of the questions to members only. This is our way of understanding how everyone is feeling about the state of affairs on the Hill, and make it a really easy way for all of us to figure out if your experiences are unique or if lots of businesses are feeling the same way.
It can be tough to know what is happening outside of your own walls. We want to keep a feedback loop going to arm all of us with one of the most important tools… information.
Your privacy is our top priority. We will never share or sell any information about you as an individual.
