The landscape of human resource management has become a hot topic across the country, and many companies are finding it difficult to balance these external political realities (and potential unnecessary/unwanted attention) with internal needs and expectations. Partnering with the Moxie Exchange, Trendency sought to address some of these pressure points by engaging with average American workers and gauging where their priorities at work really are.
Trendency worked with its partner, the Moxie Exchange (creator of the Everyday Inclusion app), to combine resources for a joint report that was released to clients as well as stakeholders and collaborators in the human resources space. Trendency utilized its national panel to engage with American workers on their priorities and concerns in the workplace, while the Moxie Exchange leaned on data from the Everyday Inclusion app to dive into trends of workers within the HR training space.
On the Trendency side, data from American workers in our national panel showed that any conservations erring on the political side of HR were just chatter, and workers cared more about being listened to and included in their workplaces. This was especially true for the newest wave of workers, those in Generation Z – 50% of whom felt like their company could be doing more in terms of inclusion. The Moxie Exchange, in turn, supplemented this research with data from the Everyday Inclusion app, which showed that individual contributors – not just those in leadership positions – were interested in these conversations and simply needed access to the resources that would allow them to thrive.
