Co-Founder and President which means lots of hats and getting too much of the credit for the work of others. A native of the Boston area, undergraduate degree from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and current resident of Washington DC. Other titles include: husband and Dad. Aspiring ski bum, recovering rugby player, occasional old-man hockey player. Stands solidly behind the views that the oxford comma is a must and that there is no shame in enjoying multiple views of The Devil Wears Prada and Drumline (there I said it).
Harini is the Director of Research, responsible for bringing scientific rigour and long hours of study to Trendency's research portfolio. She has a doctorate in Health and Development Economics with previous experience at Juul Labs, The World Bank, and various State and National Governments. Having lived in 4 countries, she brings a multicultural perspective to her work, is thrilled when she meets new people, and loves to meddle with econometrics. Apart from all of it, she is finding her way through being a new Mom. Leisure for her is reading, cooking, cleaning, and staring at life sitting on top of mountains. And yes, if you have any Cricket queries, do let her know!
Samantha Nelson Moss is the Director of Client Success at Trendency, working directly with clients and partners to ensure that Trendency’s research programs achieve their goals. Sam and her team are the main points of contact throughout the Trendency process, aiding in program setup, question development, and reporting. Prior to Trendency, Sam was an integral part of the business development and operations team for the Enterprise & Cyber Solutions team under the Defense Group at Leidos managing budgets and pipeline analysis and got her start as an analyst at Lincoln Park Strategies, working with political campaigns, advocacy groups, and non-profit organizations. She is a graduate of Boston University.
Bennett is the Vice President of Product and Panels at Trendency. This involves taking projects from start to finish, including being a key stakeholder in question development, recruitment and maintenance of the panel of respondents, as well as analysis and reporting of results. Bennett has over a decade of quantitative and qualitative research experience at various polling firms representing clients at the national, state, and local levels. As a native of Durham, North Carolina, Bennett believes that being a Duke fan shouldn’t be held against him. Most of the office disagrees.
Mekhala Kumar is an Analyst at Trendency Research. Her role involves assessing public opinion data, coding, and providing insights through visualizations and reports. Originally from Bengaluru, she holds a graduate degree in Computational Social Science from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, where she researched migration and public health. Outside work, she holds a black belt in Karate and enjoys spending time reading, singing, and watching sitcoms.
Nandni is an Analyst at Trendency Research, where she specializes in developing quantitative and qualitative research instruments to analyze public opinion, refine messaging, and extract key strategic insights. With a strong background in data analytics, marketing research, and statistical modeling, she transforms complex datasets into actionable reports and visualizations. Leveraging Trendency’s inbuilt tools, survey platforms, and analytical suites, she plays a key role in turning raw data into meaningful narratives that drive informed decision-making. Beyond work, Nandni is an avid reader with an ever-growing TBR list, always looking for her next great book. She enjoys solving NYT games, experimenting with new recipes, and challenging friends to a game of pool. She has a passion for uncovering patterns—whether in data or in everyday life—and loves exploring new ideas, places, and perspectives. When she’s not deep in analysis, she’s likely reading, traveling, or perfecting the recipes her parents taught her.
